Setting the tempo for BJP’s poll preparations, Minister for Human Resource Development Prakash Javadekar, who is also the party’s poll in-charge for Karnataka, on Monday said that people of the State were waiting to “throw out” the Siddaramaiah government.
Mr. Javadekar, who reviewed the party’s poll preparations by holding a meeting with the core committee, political affairs committee and senior party leaders, told reporters: “I’m confident that this anti-farmer, anti-people and anti-democratic government will be thrown out lock, stock and barrel.” He said the party had a concrete action plan. Mr. Javadekar was accompanied by Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal, who is also the party’s co in-charge for Karnataka polls.
