BJP will give the best days to the people of Karnataka, said Prakash Javadekar, HR Development Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party co-in charge of the Karnataka assembly elections.
On Monday, Javadekar reviewed the BJP’s election preparations and held a series of meeting on election related issues with state office bearers, State’s Political Affairs Committee, and the party’s Bengaluru’s City unit.
Later addressing reporters, he said “I see party workers are enthusiastic and they are determined to throw out the ruling Congress party lock, stock and barrel as it is anti-people, anti-farmer, and undemocratic.”
“It is September now; people are watching and waiting for a change of guard. People want to drive the corrupt Congress out of power,” he said.
Javadekar was joined by Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, who too has been appointed election in-charge for the Karnataka unit.
The Central leaders along with BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa, were here to monitor the progress of some of the measures suggested by BJP National President Amit Shah, including that of strengthening booth-level committees.
Addressing reporters, BJP General Secretary Shobha Karandlaje said the BJP’s Yuva Morcha is determined to take out a bike rally to Mangaluru to protest the killing of party workers and also against the government’s misuse of police force.
