Indian teams placed 24th and 33rd in a field of 49 teams in the mixed trap competition at the Shotgun World Championship on Monday.
Seema Tomar (43) and Zoravar Singh Sandhu (47) shot the best for India, but missed out on a knock-out spot, with five teams tied on 94 for the last slot.
Shreyasi Singh (42) and Kynan Chenai (44) were further behind.
This was the first time the mixed team competition, included in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, was a medal event for in the World Championship.
