CCTV footage purportedly showing an unidentified man and a young boy robbing a physiotherapist at his clinic in east Delhi’s Anand Vihar last week has surfaced on the Internet.
The robbers are seen entering Piyush Jain’s clinic in Rishab Vihar pretending to be patients.
The footage shows the man whipping out his pistol upon entering the clinic and telling the doctor to hand over all the cash. The incident took place in presence of several patients.
After robbing Dr. Jain of ₹37,000 in cash, the robbers allegedly told him to take them to his house, located on the first floor. The accused tied up the physiotherapist and his wife to a chair before fleeing with valuables. The neighbours, on finding the door of Dr. Jain’s home open, rescued the couple and informed the police. A case of robbery has been lodged.
