JAMMU, Sept 3: A mild intensity earthquake today jolted mountainous Kishtwar and Doda districts.
“Panic gripped people when an earthquake hit this morning at around 1120 hours in Kishtwar and Doda districts,” police said.
They said that the epicentre of the quake is not yet known. “People rushed out of their houses as the tremors were felt for few seconds,” they said.
No case of injury or damage to any property was reported in any of the districts.
