Arvind Hulsure (35), gram panchayat member from Varavatti –Bujurg village in Bhalki taluk, was found dead in his village on Saturday. The Bhalki police, who have taken up a case and are investigating, suspect he was killed elsewhere and the body dumped there.
Varavatti-B on the Karnataka –Maharashtra border is the native village of Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress leader in the Lok Sabha.
