Delhi leg of The Hindu Business Line 'Cerebration Business Quiz' witnessed some heart-racing moments on Saturday with a dynamic two-member team from Deloitte winning it in a closely and fiercely contested competition.

The winning team comprising of Rohan Khanna, 36 and Jagmit Singh, 27 scored a total 55 points spread over four rounds of nail-biting questions that had the audience hooked. There were in all six teams in final round who were selected from over 67 teams that participated boasting of a perfect blend of corporate executives and B-school students held in the Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB).

While the quizmaster Runal Dahiwade from QuizWorks kept the participants on tenterhooks with his hair-splitting questions in the initial rounds, it was the buzzer round that changed the game and propelled Khanna and Singh to the finishing line as they claimed a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and a chance to participate in the finals that is going to be held in Ramada Juhu, Mumbai on September 23.

The questions ranged mainly from the world of business and finance in text, visuals, audio and video formats. While some aced it with ease, others had the audience in splits with some quirky answers. The participants were made to answer 20 questions in the preliminary round in a written test format followed by a final quizzing round.

So far, two preliminary rounds of the 15th Edition of the Cerebration Business Quiz have taken place in Chennai and New Delhi. The next one will be held in Bangalore followed by the Grand Finale in Mumbai for which the teams will be flown down as they represent their respective states.

The Hindu Business Line Cerebration Business Quiz, which was presented in collaboration with Union Bank of India and BSNL, has observed participation from colleges to corporate houses and is meant for those who has the aptitude and keeps a tab of every aspect in the world of business, brands, marketing and finance.
