New York, Sept 2:
Retail US gasoline prices rose to $2.59 a gallon on Saturday in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, according to motorists advocacy group AAA.
Retail gasoline prices are up 2.8 per cent from Friday and up 16.7 per cent from the average price a year ago. Prices have risen more than 17.5 cents since August 23, before the storm began.
