A one-and-a-half-year-old boy died after swallowing a peanut at Kakkere village in Chitradurga taluk on Wednesday. The boy was identified as Srujan, son of Pathalingappa and Ambika.
According to police sources, the boy started suffering from severe breathing problem after swallowing the peanut. The parents rushed the boy to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
