Five more cases were registered against Nanjil Sampath, propaganda secretary of AIAMDK (Amma) faction led by T.T.V. Dhinakaran, reportedly for his recent derogatory remarks against BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan.
These cases were booked against him based on the complaints lodged by BJP functionaries since Monday. The Pattinampakkam, Ambattur Estate, Shankar Nagar and Pallavaram police have booked the cases under non-bailable provisions. On Wednesday, a few more complaints were filed. Now, Mr. Sampath is facing cases filed in nine police stations.
