R. Ashwin capped off a memorable county debut with a five-wicket haul (five for 68) in the second innings as Worcestershire registered a 189-run victory over Gloucestershire on Thursday.
The India all-rounder, who picked up three for 94 in the first innings, finished with match-figures of eight for 162. Ashwin also contributed with the bat, making 36 and 28.
Chasing 401 for victory, Gloucestershire was bowled out for 211 in the second division match.
