Heavy rains lashed Mumbai and adjoining areas causing water-logging in various areas resulting in slowing down the city’s vehicular traffic.
Many areas across the city including Sion, Matunga, and some parts in Andheri were water-logged due to the incessant showers leading to traffic snarls and chaos on the roads.
The Regional Meteorological Centre predicted that the situation will remain the same for next 24 hours. Since Saturday morning, Mumbai has been experiencing incessant heavy rainfall.
