Motorola Slashes Price Of Moto G5 Plus Smartphone By Rs 1000

Moto G5 Plus’ 4GB RAM variant is available on Amazon and Flipkart under the new price tag. However, 3GB RAM variant is not listed on the e-commerce websites

With the launch of  Moto G5s Plus (read here)  in India, Motorola has slashed the price of Moto G5 Plus by Rs 1000. Moto G5 Plus was launched in India at Rs 16,999 which was later reduced to Rs 15,999 and now after the launch of its new sibling g5s Plus, it got another price cut.

Moto G5 Plus’ 4GB RAM variant is available on Amazon and Flipkart under the new price tag. However, 3GB RAM variant is not listed on the e-commerce websites.

The fifth edition of ‘Moto G’ series now has four smartphones with Moto G5, Moto G5s, Moto G5 Plus, and Moto G5s Plus which are priced at Rs 11,999, Rs 13,999, Rs 14,999, and Rs 15,999 respectively.

To recall, the sibling of Moto G5s Plus was launched back in February. The Moto G5 Plus runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and powered Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-core processor. It comes in two variants with 3GB/16GB and 4GB/32GB RAM/internal storage; the storage on both variants is expandable up to 128GB through a MicroSD card.

Moto G5 Plus features a 5.2-inch full HD (1920x1080) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Talking about the camera, it sports a 12-megapixel rear camera f/1.7 large aperture and dual LED flash. On the front is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with wide-angle lens, f/2.2 aperture, and display flash.

The dual-SIM (nano+nano) handset is backed by a 3000mAh battery with TurboPower charger which gives 6 hours of power in just 15 minutes of charging. It has a fingerprint sensor below the display and comes in lunar gray and fine gold shades.
