Uptick in demand lifts crude palm oil futures by 0.10%

Crude palm prices advanced by 0.10 per cent to Rs 518.50 per 10 kg in futures market today on strong advices from spot markets.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm for delivery in September edged up by 50 paise, or 0.10 per cent to Rs 518.50 per 10 kg in business turnover of 241 lots.


The for delivery in August traded higher by Rs 20 paise, or 0.04 per cent to Rs 520.90 per 10 kg in 96 lots.

Market analysts said fresh positions built up by traders due to pick up in demand in physical market mainly influenced crude palm prices at futures trade.
