At least 20 people were killed and over 25 injured in different accidents in Pune and Nashik districts of Maharashtra in the last 24 hours.
The accidents have raised serious questions over road safety during monsoon. While nine people were killed in a pile-up of vehicles at Babhulgaon-Shivar in Nashik on Sunday, nine others were killed in Junnar in Pune district.
