CRPF Jawan killed in terror attack cremated in Satara village

The last rites of Jawan Ravindra B Dhanawade, who was among eight security personnel killed in a terrorist attack in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, were conducted at his village Mohat in Jawli tehsil of Satara district in western tonight.

Head constable Dhanawade, who joined the in 2000, is survived by wife, two children and mother.


A pall of gloom descended on the village after the of Dhanawade's death came.

Eight security personnel, including four men, were killed when militants carried out a suicide attack on a district police complex in south Kashmir's Pulwama yesterday. The three terrorists were also killed in the massive gunfight.
