West Indies finished the fourth day’s proceedings at 5/0 and they would now require to score 317 more runs to equal the three-match series on last day. Earlier, Roston Chase put visitors in front after he scalped three wickets in second succession that included the wickets of Dawin Malan and Ben Stokes. But Moeen Ali along with Chris Woakes turned the course of the match after the two batsmen smashed individual half-centuries before Root declared England’s innings at 490/8 at Headingley.
