Two persons were electrocuted when they were trying to put up an iron frame flex on the terrace of the building for the upcoming Bakrid festival in Electronic City on Saturday.
The deceased, Zulfikhar (60) and Mohsin (35), were businessmen. According to the police, they had got an iron flex prepared for Eid greetings to put up on the terrace of the three-storey building in Subhash Nagar.
The iron flex frame touched the electric wire passing near the terrace and as a result the duo were electrocuted and fell. They were rushed to a private hospital where doctors declared them brought dead.
The Electronic City police have taken up a case of unnatural death and are investigating.
