MIA Activated Back up Power and Urged Airlines to Arrange Passengers to Airport Separately due to Shortage on Water Supply

Macau International Airport (MIA) was affected by Typhoon Hato today and turned on backup power system, as well as contingency plan. Tens of passengers were having enquiries of their flights at airport, meanwhile airport staff are clearing debris on apron and runway for flight safety. 
 

There is water supply problem at airport that affects passengers' experience at the terminal. MIA has urged airlines to communicate with and arrange passengers to arrive at airport separately for check in.
