Casino-cum-bar bust in South Delhi: Police suspends 5 officials for negligence

The Police has suspended five officials of the Fatehpur Beri Police Station for negligence on their part over an illegal casino-cum-bar at a farmhouse in South Delhi, which was busted in a late evening raid on Tuesday.

The suspended police personnel are Inspector Govind Chauhan, the SHO, Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASI) Brij Kishore and Rajender, Head Constable (HC) Ravinder and Constable Puran.

According to sources, at least 30 persons, including 14 players and five female casino-cum-bar attendants, were apprehended and 13 luxury cars were seized from 36, Raj Mahal, Dera Mandi Road in Fatehpur Beri area during the raid.

The police also seized a roulette machine, gambling tables, casino tokens worth crore, playing cards and bottles from the farmhouse.

Last year, the South District Police, acting on a tip, had raided an illegal casino in the Sainik Farm and arrested 36 persons.
