HP Unveils Omen X Gaming Laptop

Built for competitive gamers, Omen X Laptop is engineered with the thermals to support unlocked CPUs to allow for overclocking, and factory-over clocked GPUs and memory options for gaming performance in a stunning design

American electronics manufacturer HP on Wednesday (23 August) unveiled its gaming laptop Omen X in Germany. Omen X Laptop is expected to be available in November at HP.com, starting at $2,299 (roughly Rs 150,000). Built for competitive gamers, Omen X Laptop is engineered with the thermals to support unlocked CPUs to allow for overclocking, and factory-over clocked GPUs and memory options for gaming performance in a stunning design.

The gaming laptop is packed with Intel 7th gen unlocked Intel Core i7 CPU options, XMP memory options for memory overclocking and tested profiles up to DDR4-2800. For fast-paced or multiplayer games running at 4K resolutions, it has got factory-overclocked graphics cards up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 

Omen X got high-performance fans to increase airflow and an integrated vapour chamber with four 3.5 mm heat pipes improve heat transfer from the GPU and CPU to the four rear corner-mounted radiators.

HP's new laptop Omen X Laptop is VR ready on all configurations and includes features for enhancing gameplay.

Omen X features 17-inch diagonal 4K display option for high-resolution gaming, or 120Hz 1080p display options for fast refresh rates and smooth visuals; all configurations are NVIDIA G-Sync enabled for reduced image tearing.
