Accor Takes Over Management of Luxury Resort in Maldives

AccorHotels has signed its first resort in Maldives.

Currently operating as the Jumeirah Dhevanafushi, AccorHotels will officially take over management of the property on 1 September 2017 when it will be rebranded as Dhevanafushi Maldives Luxury Resort, managed by AccorHotels.

It will be rebranded as the Raffles Maldives Meradhoo Resort in late 2018 following a refurbishment.

Dhevanafushi Maldives, located on the private island of Meradhoo, features 21 island villas and 16 ocean villas with private pools, three restaurants and a cocktail bar.

Recreational facilities and services include a spa, an over-the-water fitness centre, yoga programmes, water sports, private dining options, 24-hour butler and private chef service, along with snorkelling and diving through the resort’s PADI-certified dive centre.

The resort can be accessed by a 55-minute flight from Male Airport and a 15-minute speedboat transfer.
