Yeddyurappa land de-notification case: Karnataka HC to hear matter on Aug 28

The High will hold a hearing on former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa's land de-notification case by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on August 28, after the bureau withdrew the summon.

The ACB has also 'promised' that there would be no arrests.

Earlier, the Supreme had put for final adjudication a filed by the against the high ruling to quash 15 FIRs against former chief minister Yeddyurappa in cases relating to de-notification of land.

A bench of Justices A.K. Sikri and Ashok Bhushan posted Karnataka's special leave for consideration in the third week of September, as advocate Joseph Aristotle, appearing for the state, submitted that the matter required detailed hearing.
