Infosys back among top 10 firms on BSE, NSE

Infosys on Wednesday regained its position in the list of top ten most valued companies on the BSE and NSE following the surge in stock price.

The stock gained as domestic institutional investors wrote a letter demanding the return of co-founder and former CEO and MD Nandan Nilakeni, to the company’s board. The company’s stock witnessed around 15% drop following the resignation of CEO and MD Vishal Sikka. It fell despite buyback announcement by the company. The company was elbowed out from the NSE list by Indian Oil Corporation on Monday. Infosys moved out of top 10 BSE m-cap list on Tuesday.
