Venugopal to meet CM, ministers on Aug 30

All India Congress Committee general secretary in-charge of Karnataka K C Venugopal is scheduled to hold a meeting with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his ministerial colleagues on August 30 in Bengaluru to review preparations for the next Assembly elections.

Sources in the state Congress said Venogopal is likely to review implementation of the government’s flagship programmes such as Anna Bhagya.

Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president G Parameshwara and other senior leaders will also attend the meeting.
