A Delhi BJP delegation today met the Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi and demanded "strong" action in alleged "violations" of model code of conduct by the AAP leaders ahead of the Bawana bypoll.
Vijender Gupta, Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly, who headed the delegation said that action should be taken against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other AAP leaders for these "violations".
"The violations by the AAP include an election rally without permission in which Kejriwal was also present, government advertisements alluring voters and the announcement by a minister to develop Bawana as a smart village," Gupta alleged.
