Strategy consulting, digital marketing and analytics are the key skills in demand as organisations switch to a combine workforce

Strategy consulting, digital marketing and analytics are the key skills in demand as organisations switch to a combine workforce, according to a study conducted by Flexing It, an online marketplace for highly skilled and curated workforce.
The study was carried out on more than 50,000 professionals among the Flexing It community.
Chandrika Pasricha founder Flexing It said, "The blended workforce model has grown at a fast clip in two years. As companies look for strategies for new initiatives, we see a spike in demand for strategy consultants. Companies, especially old school ones, are trying to leverage digital marketing. So, the demand for digital marketing skills is growing too."
The company's pool of consultants and freelancers grew from 7,000 in 2014-15 to 48,000 in 2016-17. More than 85 percent of consultants were hired in a blended workforce model and they worked along with full-time employees and internal team members.
