BJP plans Jana Raksha march against ‘Communist-Jihadist alliance’

KOZHIKODE: BJP State general secretary A.N. Radhakrishnan has accused the CPI(M) of having alliance with Islamic radicals in the State. Addressing the media here on Monday, he alleged that the policies of the Pinarayi Vijayan government favoured extremist organisations.

Mr. Radhakrishnan said large-scale weapon training was taking place in the State. It is frightening to note that the internet and mobile phones have been banned in a village near Nilambur, he added.

The BJP leader said the party would organise a Jana Raksha march against the “Communist-Jihadist alliance” in the State from September 7 to 23. BJP national leaders, including its president Amit Shah, will take part in the march, he informed. Mr. Radhakrishnan accused both the LDF and the UDF of backing the alleged encroachment by Transport Minister Thomas Chandy in Alappuzha.

He accused Wisdom Global Islamic Mission of resorting to extensive religious conversions and attempting to divide people on communal lines.
