Aamir urges people to contribute for Bihar flood relief

Superstar today appealed to people to contribute towards Chief Minister's Relief Fund in the wake of the floods which have hit the northern state.

The toll in floods rose to 253 till yesterday as more areas started getting affected, with nearly 1.26 crore people hit by the deluge.


Aamir said he is confident that the is taking necessary steps to overcome this situation.

"I am confident the is doing something to battle the situation. Nature is not in our hands, but we can definitely do something to help. Every Indian can contribute to help in this situation. I appeal to all, to contribute in the Chief Minister's fund of so that the can do its work," he told reporters here.

"This year a lot of places have been affected by floods so we can at least do this for them. I will appeal to all, even I will do it, to contribute to the fund and let the do its job," he added.

He was speaking at the trailer launch of his upcoming production, "Secret Superstar" here.
