Rider dies as bike skids in Koramangala

The rider of a motorcycle died after it skidded in Koramangala, Southeast Bengaluru, on Sunday morning, police said.

Thippeswamy (31), a resident of Kammanahalli, was returning home when he lost control of the two-wheeler which skidded offf the road between the BDA complex and the water tank around 6.50 am.

He collapsed, suffering grievous injuries, the police said. He was rushed to a hospital but it was too late. Thippeswamy worked at a private firm in Electronics City.

A case has been registered in this regard and further investigation is on.
