Telangana Governor, CM condole Prasad's demise

and Governor today expressed his condolences over the death of retired IAS officer P V R K Prasad.

Prasad rendered yeoman services in the undivided state of in various posts, the governor said.


Chief Minister also expressed grief over Prasad's demise and remembered his services in various posts in the state and Central governments, a release from the Chief Minister's Office said.

Prasad, who was the additional secretary and media adviser to former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao, died of cardiac arrest at a hospital here in the wee hours today. He was 77.

He was an IAS officer of cadre and held several important posts, including that of the executive officer of Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD).

He also served as the chairman of Vizag Port during his illustrious career.
