Two unidentified bike-borne men decamped with a bag containing Rs 57 lakh from a van of a private cash handling agency in Bhilwara district today, police said.
The cash was to be deposited in an ATM.
According to the police, the incident happened near the Bhilwara sessions court area where a van of the private cash handling agency stopped after its tyre got punctured.
Police teams have been alerted to seal entry and exit routes of the city to nab the accused, SP Bhilwara Pradeep Mohan Sharma told PTI.
He said that CCTV footages installed near the spot were also being captured to collect evidences.
