NEW DELHI: President Ram Nath Kovind will visit Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow to present the Presidential Colours, a rare military honour, to all five Ladakh Scouts Battalions and Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre at Leh.
On the same day, he will also visit the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre at Leh before returning to Delhi.
The visit has become significant as it is taking place amid the stand-off between Indian and Chinese troops in Doklam and just days after they clashed in the Ladakh region. (AGENCIES)
