Rainfall activity decreased in all parts of West Bengal with little or no precipitation having been reported from both the southern and the flood-affected northern districts, the Met department said here today.
The weatherman has, however, predicted isolated heavy rainfall in the Sub-Himalayan districts of Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Jalpaiguri districts in its 24-hour forecast till tomorrow morning.
The sky would generally remain cloudy with or two spells of rain in other districts of north Bengal.
There was little or no rainfall recorded in the northern districts till this morning, the Met department said.
In the southern districts in Gangetic West Bengal, the sky is likely to remain overcast with one or two spells of rain or thundershower.
Isolated places in the southern-most districts of East Midnapore and West Midnapore are likely to receive heavy rain till tomorrow morning, the Met department said.
The metropolis remained dry but cloudy with no precipitation having been recorded since yesterday.
