Make Payments Over SMS With TotalSend

TotalSend’s Managing Director, Tracy Surkont.
TotalSend has announced the addition of Push Payments to its product portfolio. The launch of Push Payments, according to the firm, will see TotalSend step into uncharted waters and form a unique category of being able to integrate payments into digital messaging. This means that bills can now be received over SMS or email and paid by customers on the fly within a few clicks.
Having already started the roll-out of Push Payments to businesses in the e-commerce, retail and collections industries, Totalsend is looking to enable firms to massively reduce friction of payment collection.
This latest news comes after mobile industry innovation stalwart and entrepreneur Tracy Surkont was named as Managing Director of TotalSend earlier this month.
“SMS, email and chats with easy payment links embedded in the message reduces corporate collection times by eliminating the need for EFTs by customers which are notorious for complexities and misunderstandings,” said Surkont.
Speaking on the new opportunities for the seamless payment solution, Surkont said TotalSend will be rolling out Push Payments into other promising African territories where the company has direct fixed and mobile connectivity.
