Amit Shah sets target of 200 seats in MP elections

President on Friday set the a target of winning 200 seats in next year's assembly elections and all the 29 seats in the state in 2019, sources said.

Earlier, the President arrived in Bhopal on a three-day visit to the state. He was welcomed by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, state Chief Nand Kumar Chouhan, General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya and National Vice President Prabhat Jha.

Shah expressed his displeasure at the long welcoming ceremony, a source said. He also told the leaders not to leak details of the meeting.

Shah also unveiled a statue of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay.

Shah is slated to meet ministers of the party-led state government.
