"Fantastic Four" actor Julian McMahon is joining the cast of Marvel's forthcoming series "Runaways".
McMahon will play a character called Jonah in the new Hulu series, a character who's described as a bit of a mystery but who's a "pivotal player", reported Digital Spy.
"While his origins and ultimate intentions are unknown, he is a pivotal player in the Runaways' rebellion against their parents," his character synopsis read.
Marvel's "Runaways" tells the story of a diverse group of teens who learn their parents are involved in some secret evil organisation business, so the kids join together to defeat their parents with their own unique skills.
The classic Brian K Vaughan and Adrian Alphona-created comic is being adapted for TV by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage - who know a thing or two about teen drama from their years working on "The OC" and "Gossip Girl."
"We're incredibly excited to add Julian to our exceptional cast and we can't wait to see what he brings to the world of Marvel's Runaways," Schwartz and Savage said of McMahon's casting.
