Shares of Shipping Corporation, GE Shipping and Essar Shipping will remain in focus, as the Baltic Exchange’s main sea freight index continued its gaining streak as demand for capesize vessels strengthened. Rising for the 13th straight session, the overall index, which factors in hiring rates for capesize, panamax, supramax and handysize shipping vessels, was up 38 points, or 3.25 per cent, at 1,207 points, touching its highest since April 20.
