Travkart, a unit of Holidays by Sahibji, today said it has collaborated with leading self-drive car rental company Avis to offer handpicked outbound holiday packages designed for every type of traveller.

The partnership will allow travel agents to book car rental services in 168 countries and regions, including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, UAE, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, UK, US and Europe among others through Travkart website and mobile Application, a release said here.

“Indian outbound travellers seeking experiential holidays are fast maturing and evolving. This is resulting in the trend of self-drive holidays gaining popularity.

“Thus, we decided to collaborate with a global company like Avis to make Travkart the first travel brand for introducing international travel packages with the luxury of self-driving,” Travkart.com Co-founder Manheer Singh Sethi said.

Avis India is a joint venture between Avis Budget Group and The Oberoi Group.
