The weather office today warned of heavy rain tomorrow at one or two places in northern and southern parts of the flood-ravaged state.
The downpour, forecast in the next 24 hours, is likely to aggravate the situation in the state where the flood has claimed 72 lives and affected 74.44 lakh people in 14 districts as per the latest update.
The weather office forecast for the rest of the state is generally clear sky with possibility of rain or thundershower in some places.
According to the met office bulletin Patna recorded 2 mm rain from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm today, while Bhagalpur registered 13 mm rain.
Patna recorded maximum temperature of 34.6 degree Celsius, Gaya 33.6 degrees and Bhagalpur 31.5 degree Celsius, it added.
