2 Cong members expelled from Krishna Nagar district unit

The disciplinary action committee of the today expelled two party members from Krishna Nagar district unit for anti-party activities.

Complaints of anti party-activities were received against former councilor Surendra and block president Ashok Sharma, said Chairman of the committee Nath.


They have been expelled from the party for a period of six years, he said.

"In an investigation, they were found to be closely associated with Arvinder Singh Lovely who quit and joined the during municipal polls in April," he added.

The decision to expel Surendra and Ashok was taken in a meeting of the disciplinary committee.
