Injuries, upsets dominate men’s draw at Cincinnati

Milos Raonic withdrew from the Cincinnati Western & Southern Open on Tuesday, becoming the seventh player ranked in the top 10 to opt out of the tournament.

In the women’s section, Garbine Muguruza, Simona Halep and Venus Williams powered through to the next round, while French Open winner Jelena Ostapenko was ousted in straight sets.
