The Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh was rocked by two earthquakes of mild intensity.
There was no loss of life or property but the tremors created a scare among the locals.
The first quake of 3.5 magnitude occurred at 8:53 am which was followed by another quake of 4.1 magnitude at 8:56 am, Director of local MeT office, Manmohan Singh, said.
