Superintendent of Police Gopinath Jatti on Tuesday launched the ‘Nandyal Bye Election 2017’ App containing information about polling stations and their location with a facility to receive complaints with regard to the byelection. The App can be downloaded from Google Playstore and installed on Android phones. People can report incidents and upload photographs and videos, and they would be monitored from the control room at Nandyal, the SP said.

The App would also contain data about the code of conduct, flying squads, sectoral officers, video surveillance teams, polling party, shadow party, and check-posts, he said.

Each polling station would be monitored by body-worn cameras, CC and drone cameras, Mr. Gopinath said.
