Rape-murder solved, say Kullu police

THE KULLU police on Monday claimed to have solveda case of rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl.

An FIR No. 50/17 u/s 302, 363, 366, 376 and 4 POCSO Act was registered at Bhunter in Kullu district four months ago.  The accused Ram Babu alias Naam Babu, son of Chhabu alias Jhabua, and resident of Khaira Hasan in UP’s Bahraich district, age 22 years, has been arrested and will be produced before a magistrate on Tuesday, said the DGP.
