Twenty-one police officers from the state have been conferred with the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Police Medal for Meritorious Service by the President of India on the occasion of Independence Day.

Malini Krishnamoorthy, Additional Commissioner of Police (West), A B Rajendrakumar, DySP (Nelamangala sub-division) and Munihanumaiah, ASI (CID), Bengaluru, are recipients of the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service, while the following officers will receive Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
