Two held for killing former MLA Bharat Singh

Police today said it has arrested two persons for allegedly killing a former in Delhi's Najafgarh area two years ago.

Fifteen pistols and 62 live cartridges were recovered from the two accused, who were nabbed last night, a spokesman of the police department said.


During checking on Dwarka Expressway near Daulatabad in Gurgaon district, the police tried to stop a speeding car but its occupants opened fire on them in a bid to flee, the spokesman said.
