A youth was stabbed to death allegedly by his friends using a broken beer bottle on Friday night. Pathiban, 25, was found dead with stab injuries on his body near the Cooum in Chetpet on Saturday.
He was staying with the family of his brother Surender in Chetpet and had cases against him in the local police station. On Friday night, he was reportedly chatting with his friends near the Cooum and drinking. A quarrel ended in his friends stabbing him to death.
