A 34-year old mill worker committed suicide by hanging at his house near Annur, some 35 Kms from here, police said.
The youth, Arunkumar was in love with a woman working in the same mill for the last two years.
It was suspected that he took the extreme step as he was dejected over the opposition from his parents to marry his pregnant lover, police said.
The woman asked Arunkumar to marry her. However, this was strongly opposed by his parents, police said.
Upset over not able to marry the woman, Arunkumar committed suicide by hanging at house last night, police said.
