Air-conditioner maker Blue Star has reported an increase of 13.75 per cent in its consolidated net profit to Rs 58.46 crore for the quarter ended June 30.
The company had registered a net profit of Rs 51.39 crore in April-June period a year ago, Blue Star said in a BSE filing.
Its total income during the quarter was at Rs 1,473.92 crore, up 20.02 per cent, as against Rs 1,227.96 crore a year ago.
Blue Star's total expenses moved up 20.14 per cent to Rs 1,397.32 crore as against Rs 1,163.06 crore.
Shares of Blue Star today settled at Rs 673.05 on BSE, up 2.18 per cent from the previous close.
